The group was the nicest tour group I have traveled with and it is a testament to Beth’s company that she attracts such fun and warm-hearted people. Louise C.
It is very clear from the tours that I have been on that the itinerary is well thought out, there is care in the details and the country partners represent Beth well. I’m honored to be a part of Beth’s legacy of travel and hope to emulate her good will. Thank you for what you do ~ making the world more accessible, while enjoying like-minded travelers! Robin LB.
It was VERY nice to have everything essentially taken care of for me…my schedule would never have allowed me to go otherwise. I did especially enjoy traveling with women that have similar travel interests and experiences and would highly recommend it to anyone who has a sense of adventure and curiosity about the world. One of the highlights was to meet new people that I really enjoyed being with and could even possibly travel with in the future. Marcia K.
The longer I have had to be back and ruminate about the tour, the more I love our group, and everything we learned and all the sights we saw and things we did. The hiking was amazing and gorgeous. There was plenty of hot delicious food and tea-coffee at every stop. Kinley Zan our Bhutanese guide and Gembo, our driver, were spectacular! I was extremely impressed by their skill, true desire to make our trip memorable, comfortable and fun! I felt that they sincerely enjoyed their work and wanted us to have a great time. I enjoyed all the hotels, even the wood burning stove ones which I thought I would hate, I loved! Susan M.
I was duly impressed with Beth’s organizational and interpersonal skills and her ability to ‘herd’ our tour group. The cost was well worth the experience. I enjoyed it very much! All of the activities were well-coordinated, interactive and interesting. I especially enjoyed the speed boat ride on the upper deck between the islands! Harvey H.
Experiencing the Galapagos via a land-based tour enhanced the feeling of exploration and adventure. Having everything arranged with the best of the best services, resources, activities and cultural sites made it all very worthwhile. The accommodations were all outstanding. Getting so close to the animals and swimming with the turtles and sea lions was very meaningful. When we want to have a good travel adventure, we know we can trust Beth to make that happen. And now I can say I slept in a treehouse on Santa Cruz Island where the giant tortoises roam! Kelly S.
Magic Galapagos – the whole experience was meaningful, but the stars at night were amazing! Everything was arranged and the choices were excellent. I just had to show up and have fun! Barb C.
I thought our guide was fantastic and the hotels were amazing. I think the tour was worth every penny. India is not a place I would have ever considered navigating on my own. I felt like we got a first class seat in an unbelievable country. I think overall what sticks in my mind is watching the artisans. Seeing all the amazing historical relics was also top on my list. Plus being with such a great group of women made it so much fun. I felt so taken care of. I feel like Beth has the experience and the contacts to make any trip great. Sarah B.
There was a great group of women on the tour and having Beth along was great – she took care of so many details, changes, additions, requests and did it all seemingly effortlessly. It would not have been the same trip without her. Susan T.
Beth does a great job with her tours. I appreciate her in-depth planning and preparation. Really like the choice of places to visit as well as the terrific group of ladies! Something very, very special about the Tea Country! Nirmala (local tour guide) was a great addition to this trip – she was so genuine and I loved how she wanted to show us “her” India! I also appreciate the group of women we were with – such a lovely group! Jane H.
This tour was amazing and exceeded my expectations in food, accommodations and educational opportunities. It was more than a vacation–it was an unforgettable event. There wasn’t a single day that I didn’t learn something interesting, eat something delicious, laugh with the other tour participants and shop in an enjoyable and relaxed environment. I’m just a raving fan! Colleen G.
Well-done!!! This tour was extremely well planned, managed and executed. The group of women were fun and caring. It was just fine to be a solo traveller with this small group. Ireland was a true gem of an experience and the Irish were so friendly, helpful and thoughtful. This was my maiden voyage with Beth’s WanderTours and I look forward to another adventure with her and sister travelers. Thank you Beth for helping our dreams come true! Brett M.
There were great people on the trip, great accommodations and food and a great variety of experiences. Pat (local tour guide & driver) was incredibly knowledgeable and lovely – top notch!! Interacting with the locals was very meaningful, especially on the Aran Islands and in the pubs. Jackie B.
The itinerary was excellent. I loved Ireland with its charmingly humorous people, stunning countryside, music and pub life. This trip covers a lot and is a wonderful introduction to Ireland. Annie E.
Traveling, to me, is all about connecting with people and this trip accomplished that. You do not get a cookie cutter trip from WanderTours; rather, you get a truly personal experience and one that I will always remember. Thank you, Beth, for organizing such a wonderful tour with such a wonderful group of traveling companions! Marian M.
I recommend WanderTours because Beth is very detail oriented and thorough, yet easy going. I would follow her anywhere! This was an awesome trip all the way around. It exceeded my expectations. Denise K.
I loved the juxtaposition of doing activities with locals and then experiencing the hustle of shopping and sight seeing. These trips are unique because you get to do unusual activities off of the beaten path but still see the famous sites you’ve heard of. I also love that we were not a “cozy” group of 40 following an orange flag! Barb D.
The food was tasty, healthy and bountiful. Our driver, Mohammed, was excellent and was always very courteous and kind. He took his job very seriously and had a great attitude. Our guide Fatimzahra was a pleasure to be with. She truly cared about us and our wants and needs, loves what she is doing and puts her all into it. The tour was so well-organized and executed. The accommodations and food were great. The whole Sahara experience was a thrill. The beauty of this country, the friendliness of the people, the architecture and the architectural detail, the tile and other craftworks we saw – the trip was one giant sensory feast! Suzanne W.
Papua New Guinea Tours
I’m a True Traveler (capital letters intentional). Well over 50 countries. Luckily, traveling is one of the best things I do. Two years ago, Beth told me that the trip to Papua New Guinea with WanderTours would be my best. Of course, I was skeptical. But guess what? She was absolutely right!!!! My very best trip – by far! Tribal culture, birds and plants and animals, a little intimidation (not too much), beauty, history, costumes, singing, dancing, language – all – well, not merely “interesting” – more WOW, spectacular! So, don’t hesitate! Just go!!!!! Phyl C.
Beth accommodates all kinds of people quite well (myself included), makes everyone feel comfortable, is patient yet stern and can handle a lot of situations. Many guides cannot; it’s a real gift. There was great access to really special and intimate festivals, quality transportation and quality accommodations on the tour. Mike V.
We loved all the special locations on the tour and really enjoyed watching everyone prepare for the singsing festival. Beth’s knowledge is just so in-depth and her contacts are incomparable. And on this tour, I found out that I can do just about anything! Marianne D.
Loved everything about Beth and the Papua New Guinea trip! Beth demonstrated her love of and respect for the wonderful people and amazing culture of Papua New Guinea. She was very sensitive to both the needs of the group and to those of individual travelers. WanderTours provided excellent value and also added extras such as an up close and personal mini singsing and a day trip through beautiful scenery to the smaller but charming Enga SingSing. The company is dedicated to giving their clients a wonderful holiday while being committed to helping them learn as much a possible about this truly unique culture. Papua New Guinea is a true must-see for world travelers. Ed G.
I loved the trek, the food, the camps, the scenery, the historical and cultural information provided. Those four days (trekking) were most memorable to me! I am very pleased with Beth and WanderTours. I’m grateful that I know someone who adds that personal touch to her professionalism! She is an organized and efficient business woman, but, also, a fun, kind and inclusive person. Jane A.
Being able to see multiple areas within the Sacred Valley was very special. I loved the people I encountered and experienced there. Rise C.
When we want to have a good travel adventure, we know we can trust Beth to make that happen. Her network and experience ensure we will have an excellent adventure. Kelly S.
Southeast Asia Tours
I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Beth and WanderTours. She has the perfect formula for travel – fascinating, road-less-traveled locales, small groups of fun, interesting and adventurous women to travel with and the lovely opportunity to give back to the countries you visit. Stacey C.
I’m exceedingly happy that I had the good fortune to take the trip to Vietnam. To experience another country with “like-minded” women was rewarding. My life was enriched immensely as a result of the WanderTours team planning and implementing memorable events. I can, without a doubt, rate this trip a “10.” I can’t remember the last time I had so much fun – this trip far exceeded my expectations. Bettye R.
Thank you again for running a company that helps people explore communities in other parts of the world. I didn’t just go on vacation with WanderTours. I was immersed in the communities, met the people and received such an education from spending time with them. I am forever grateful for all of the experiences you facilitated me having by running such an amazing company. Laila P.
WanderTours is like no other tour company. To Beth and the team, you’re treated not as a client, but as a friend, and in turn, you quickly find that you can rely on your friend to ensure you are having a good time and getting all the information you need to make the most of your experience. The group as a whole is very welcoming and down-to-earth. What a great time! Diane S.
Beth’s attention to detail and attention to ensuring everyone was enjoying themselves made the trip seem like a family outing rather than just a business venture. I could never imagine the level of sadness that one could feel at saying goodbye after spending just 10 days with a group. Jeff H.
Baja Kayaking Adventure
This trip was very well organized and the communications before and during the trip were excellent. Beth is a wonderful, warm, inspiring woman to travel with. Great fun! I fell in love with Loreto, Mexico. I loved what we did in Mexico, I love the wonderful, BOLD women I met on this trip, all of our local tour guides were outstanding! Need I say more? Joanne M.
The whole area was fascinating, the people were all warm and welcoming, I always felt safe and loved that it is still relatively undiscovered. Our tour guide was phenomenal. Loved learning about the local culture and meeting other like-minded women interested in being adventurous and having a good time. Fabulous trip! Stacey D.
I think Beth is a great guide and picks excellent local guides, restaurants and hotels. I’m really impressed by this trip and the women I met. I would definitely go on another trip. Michelle V.
New Orleans Culinary Tours
I liked how everything was well organised. I never felt rushed. There was always plenty of time allotted for all of the activities. Nina Z.
Beth was outstanding in the choices she made for the itinerary, her contacts and her enthusiasm. She was prepared to vary from the exact itinerary if the group wanted to change it a bit. Teri J.
This trip has left me wanting more – more travel, more NOLA, more knowledge about what we saw and where we went. I enjoyed all the cooking classes and demonstrations. I learned so much and having cooking methods explained by more than one person was really helpful too. Everyone has a different way of doing things. Lauren V.
Santa Fe Culinary Tours
This ranks as one of the best vacations I’ve ever taken. The hotel was excellent, the included activities were varied, educational and fun, the food was good, the spa was excellent and the shuttles we used were pleasant and safe. I never got the feeling that I had to hurry. The down time was very pleasant and it gave me a wonderful opportunity to get to know the amazing women I was touring with. Beth was a fantastic guide, as was Peter (local guide). And, I was not 100% on board with the idea of vacationing with a group of people I didn’t know. Boy, was I wrong! The best part was getting to know the other women in the group! Kelly S.
The hotel was beautiful, the food was incredible and the guides were all very knowledgeable. I appreciate the kindness and stories of kick-ass women so much more. It was a wonderfully inspiring trip, both from a fellow female traveler perspective as well as the women we visited on the tour. I loved loved loved this trip! Brava to the women who helped pull it together! I will be back on another one, most certainly! Rachel E.
The trip far exceeded my expectations. I have to admit, not having signed up for a tour before, I was a little concerned about how it would go. I did not expect the depth of knowledge and professionalism we experienced. All of the local guides were engaged, insightful and instructive. So often, you can sense a jadedness and condescension among tour guides that is a turn off, to say the least. I returned to Seattle wanting to know even more about Santa Fe and that’s the way it should be (at least in my opinion). Of course, for me, the real “take away” was the story of the Native Americans in that part of our country. I have a renewed appreciation for who they are, the struggles they endured and resilience they have – quite remarkable! I appreciated the opportunity to meld with the other group members and get to know them. The group dynamics were great and it was an extra bonus to connect with each of them. Mary F.
Seattle Culinary Tours
I enjoyed every bit of the tour, especially the foodie events like the market tour and Diane’s cooking instructions (Diane’s Market Kitchen). But, the most meaningful was to learn more about Beth’s commitment to improving and influencing the quality of the lives of women. Proven. Experienced. Quality. Dependable. Kim K.
Traveling with like-minded individuals was quite enjoyable. I liked the smallness of the group as it allowed everyone to get to know each other. Also, our outings were not of the usual tourist variety, which I liked. Marian W.
This tour was wonderful. The women were varied, interesting and fun. Beth is fabulous leading the group. Every stop was well planned and worthwhile…not a statement I would make for all tours. Beth puts extra thought into her itineraries and it shows. So glad I came! Thanks. Susan M.
We did have a great trip and Beth is a wonderful tour manager. I’ve been on a few other tours and never met or knew the person who actually was the owner. Her personal care and interest in every aspect makes it a very special way of traveling. Honey S.
