Also check out these FAQ’s for Santa Fe.
Q. Do I need to have any specific experience or background to join a Wellness Retreat?
A. Absolutely not. We welcome everyone to this getaway.
Q. What sort of food will be served?
A. Sunrise Springs Resort and Spa has outstanding, freshly prepared food. For this Retreat, we have requested a vegetarian menu. Don’t worry, it will include lots of protein options!
Q. How do I get from the airport in Albuquerque or Santa Fe to Sunrise Springs?
A. The most affordable option is to take the Sandia Shuttle. They have hourly departures from the airport and it takes about 1 hour to get to Santa Fe. You can book in advance or make arrangements at the airport. You could also take a taxi or rent a car. There is free parking at Sunrise Springs for our group but a car will not be necessary as all events take place at the resort.
Q. Do I need to participate in all of the activities listed on the itinerary?
A. While you are not required to participate in all of the activities, we do encourage you to do so in order to get the most out of your time there. There is downtime built in to each day so that you can have time for yourself.
Q. Will I have time for a massage or other treatment during the Retreat?
A. Definitely. There will be time each afternoon and after dinner for you to make these arrangements. During this time there may be informal conversations or activities going on, but these will also be the best times for you to take advantage of other activities at the resort.
Q. What should I pack for this Retreat?
A. We suggest you dress for comfort. We’ll be on the property during the Retreat so there won’t be any fancy dinners to get dressed up for but it is a resort and you may want to wear something a bit nicer at dinner. We’ll have daily yoga classes so come prepared with comfortable, loose-fitting clothes for those classes. Wear comfortable shoes as you’ll want to walk the lovely property during the day and bring a jacket so you can sit out at night by the fire pit to enjoy the stars.
